2017 A year to fulfil dreams

My year of 2017 holds a very special dream come true – my second book, which has been a long time evolving.  Yesterday I returned the proof-read copy of my second book Farewell My French Love, to be published by Harlequin Mira in April.  As I have written on my web page before, it’s a story of my recovery from the loss of my husband Olivier, who passed away nearly five years ago. Yesterday would have been our ninth wedding anniversary.  I have survived a river of sadness and now, in the fullness of time, I am happy again – as a widow. It’s also unashamedly Francophilic, given  that Olivier was French-born. Therefore, it’s not surprising that next week, I fly to Canberra to see the outstanding exhibition of Versailles including Queen Marie Antoinette’s ornately carved gold harp and more than 100 other artefacts.  I can hardly wait.

For Adelaide rose lovers we have experienced the best flowering season that I can remember. Rather than write copious notes about my Christmas celebrations, I thought a photographic display will capture a very happy season.

A delightful day when I received the final printout of my second book to proofread from Harlequin.
